Scandinavian Inspired Camp »

This Nordic styled camp sits perched on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain overlooking the waters and the Adirondacks to the west.

The native Panton stone chimney appears to anchor the structure to the site while the steel foundation columns aid in the illusion that the camp is floating above the underlying ledge stone. The dark stained wood siding tone was matched to the surrounding foliage to help blend and tie the building to the lakeside site. Large lift-and-slide doors fill the waterfront elevation and blur the line between the indoors and out. Custom milled clear vertical grain western hemlock lines the entire interior space of the home. The lines created by the wood paneling traverse across doors, cabinetry and ceiling planes giving the interior a unique and unifying appearance.

Among the many special features included are: a custom walnut slab table; glass railing; folding kitchen cabinet doors; shop-built wood & fabric upholstered beds and back-painted glass shower walls/kitchen backsplash.
