Contemporary Lake Champlain Home »

This stunning contemporary house sits on a cliff above Lake Champlain. The house offers magnificent views on multiple levels thru its large lift and slide glass walls and elevated decks. Nestled on to a narrow site, the visitor is initially offered peeks of its views thru the landscaped courtyard. Moving thru the site and the house, a landscaped terrace surrounded by board formed concrete walls, bluestone pavers, opens the house to the western spectacle. A narrow lap pool, and spa are tucked in the the terrace to provide private enjoyment of the space.

Roundtree fabricated its many doors, waterfall counter, extensive dark stained millwork, and glass walled staircase. The house features geothermal heating and cooling, radiant floors, a solar PV array, a live roof, & 16″ thick walls. Many other features give it a minimal energy footprint.
